Good morning!…Today’s post is of the Los Angeles Convention Center atrium. I am always amazed at the size of these structures in the US which can house thousands of visitors and virtually transform themselves into anything the economy demands. This is a (tiny portion) looking up shot at the center of the atrium which by its very nature provides natural light to anyone entering or exiting the structure. Reinforced glass and an intricate array of beams enables a tremendous span of uninterrupted floor space – and all superbly air conditioned battling 100 F weather on a typical summer day.
